Congrats Grad - MIM #120

I'm just getting around to making the graduation cards that I need today! The latest Papertrey Ink MIM #120 - Overlapping Ombre inspired my creation. I used the Watercolor Wonder to create my ombre using Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Terracotta Tile, and Canyon Clay.

The local school colors are orange and black. I used the new Star Spangled Impression plate to add some texture. I think you can see it best in the picture up top.

A border created with the Super Star border die ran through my Xyron machine. Do you have a Xyron? I purchased it after a suggestion from Dawn McVey for another MIM. I'm so glad I got it. My hat is popped up!

Have a great week! ~Rhonda

  1. Rhonda, this is such a fun grad card! May have to copy this idea for some grads I need to honor. But in their school colors. Brilliant! Love that background you did too.
