Happy + A Beautiful Ride

I'm playing along with the MIM #169 this week. The challenge is to use vellum as an overlay or with a sentiment. It is always a challenge to adhere vellum so you don't see the adhesive. I chose to sew the main panel down. The sentiment is held in place by a brad in the "spokes" of the bicycle wheel.

I cut the phase play #5 die twice to shorten it and still get my rounded corners. It makes a great square accent.

Almost makes me want a bicycle. Do you have one you ride? ~Rhonda

  1. Yes, have one in pink/white, hardly ever ride it anymore! But if I had this BLUE one… seriously off the cute scale, Rhonda! The wreath with posies carried through to the bike basket of posies is brilliant! And of course all the layers! Caught that adorable blue star on the bike wheel too! Just perfection!

  6. I want this bike!! : ) I don't have a real bike but I love them all including the paper ones : ) Huby and I are looking into the recumbent bikes - they are spendy but seem like a great alternative for our old bones!

So clever to cut your die twice and to attach your sentiment with the bike spokes! Great ideas ; )
