Life is Beautiful

This month we challenge you to gain some inspiration from the "Fruits of Summer" color schemes, using either a portion or all of the colors in a particular scheme. Be sure to download and print the Fruits of Summer Color Inspiration sheet to take straight to your workspace and use as a reference!

Wow! The colors in this palette were a HUGE stretch for me! This card went through several metamorphosis before finally landing on a finished design. I really wanted to use the Rainbow stripes die. I had put them all over this card before deciding that they worked behind the fabulous frame.

I love the polka dots on the frame embossed. It makes me happy.

I decided on the sentiment for 2 reasons. It was small enough to fit the tab and it echoes the beautiful word that is on the pattern paper.

It's always good to be stretched. The pain is worth it! ~Rhonda

  2. Those are great polka dots, but what I love the most is the stripe die cuts behind the pitcher and the tab on the side (reminds me of a scrapbook page!) Your recent scrapbook designing is transferring over to your card making and I think that is fabulous!
