Tuesday Trigger

I am playing along with the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger. I loved the inspiration photo. The colors and the grid pattern kept playing in my head.

First up is this aqua number.

If you could see how many little color combinations that I tried and threw out you would LAUGH!!  I finally had to tell myself enough already - focusing on one color is OK!! Though I believe I may be an expert on die cutting this particular set! Wink!!

I cut off 1/2" on the front panel so you can see the grid that I stamped in Going Grey from SU. I even stamped the grid on the envelope front and an envelope liner. Just write over the grid with a black marker and you are set to go.

I also had stamped everything in a purple scheme. I thought I would be able to mix the two together but didn't like it so one color it stayed. This was also a time when I wanted a less than perfect grid image.

Hope you have plans for a wonderful week! We are supposed to get to 84° today then back to the 50's. Going to enjoy it while I can. ~Rhonda

Question for you - Does anyone have a blue ink that matches the picture? I found that I am lacking one. Suggestions?

  7. Gorgeous cards Rhonda - you must have better eyes than me. Yours line up so nicely! The blues I used were the HA Pool and Stone Wash to match the colours of the TT photo.

  11. Rhonda, your cards are wonderful. Know what you mean about die cutting till arm aches! But in your case, worth every Motrin! Hawaiian Shores came closest in color, funny I had the same inky challenge.
By the way, the grid with Folk Art stamps is brilliant!
