Birthday Bag

My new goodies from Papertrey Ink arrived today! I couldn't wait to try the Front and Center die. I also broke open the new Pure Poppy ink.

The tag is also the new Tag Sale #5. I was so glad that I had a white lunch bag already in my craft goodies.

The coverage of the new ink is fabulous.

The picture below shows an example of my OLD Spring Moss ink compared to the NEW.

The color is so MUCH brighter and the coverage is fabulous. The color is beautiful with the matching paper. I don't have an old Pure Poppy to do a comparison. Thought you might like to see the 2 ink pads side by side.

Have a great evening!! I'm watching the Texas Rangers in the World Series. It isn't looking to good. :(

supplies:
stamps: PTI Half and Half
paper: Hobby Lobby Boho Chic; PTI Stampers Select White
ink: PTI Pure Poppy new formula, Vintage Cream
other: Making Memories Jumbo Bloom White Daisy with brad; ribbon Hobby Lobby; white lunch bag - Walmart

  2. Wow, that bag looks great. I didn't buy that die, because I was too stingy, and I am already regretting it. How nice it looks with patterned paper--probably didn't take you all that long....thanks for showing the ink comparison. I can't wait until my ink arrives.

  4. Your bag looks so awesome--love how easy it must be to use patterned paper. I needed some staples and was on a very restricted budget so passed on the die but can see I may regret that decision! I didn't get any inks this time either so am anxious to try them later. Your comparisons are a big help--thanks!

  6. Love the bag, looks marvelous! And especially appreciating the new ink comparison from someone brave like you, who had faith and ordered! I have two old versions of Spring Moss and was afraid to try again, but now think I just might dive in with my next order.

  7. Your bag came out great. I passed on that die because it was to expensive. I am hoping to create something like it on my own. I got my inks yesterday and I agree they are much better than the last ones.
