What's Up? June Papertrey Blog Hop

I went CAS for my PTI Blog Hop card this month. I loved the frame sketch and the 1st color recipe. I originally considered taking the sketch literally and cut frames but started looking through my dies for something that had several sizes.

I decided the arrows would be fun and then I had to hunt up a sentiment that made sense. I think the "What's Up" with the arrow from Boy Basics: Skater Dude is perfect plus I had never inked it up before.

I stacked all the colors together on 2 of the arrows to create some dimension and it looks fun from the side. You can see this in the 1st image at the top.

I really do appreciate you taking the time to visit my blog. Happy Hopping! ~Rhonda

Congrats on Your New Home

Do you love glossy accents? Did you know that the stuff does get old? I bought a new bottle and what a difference! My card inspiration is based on the CAS(E) this sketch challenge

PTI's Watercolor Wonder was perfect to add just a touch of color over the sentiment. I think it was just what was needed to tie the house color in. LOVE the glossy red heart!

I remember the excitement of a new home! Putting our gifts in our own cabinets. Sweet memories. ~Rhonda

Christmas Thank You

I needed to get my Christmas thank you's completed. I usually like to get them completed the 1st week of January but as so many others, I was under the weather! I still have a cough that I can't shake.

This is a simple, easy layout that allowed my to use some busy paper that I normally have trouble with. A little twine and an embossed sentiment made this one easy to mass produce.

Hope you are enjoying beautiful weather. We are in the 70's for at least another day. It was a perfect day for a walk. ~Rhonda
