Make it Monday #80 - Making Garland

Make It Monday #80. Making a garland with Ashley Cannon Newell. Loved this challenge. It's the 1st day of classes for the kids in our area and I will start mentoring my 1st grader again soon. Don't you love the smell of a freshly sharpened #2 pencil?

My card used that #2 pencil for my garland. I just had to stamp a "2" from Fresh Alphabet on my pencil. The alpha strip is so stinking cute! I remember those across all the bulletin boards. Have a wonderful day. ~Rhonda

supplies:
stamps: PTI Teach and Inspire, Fruit Fusion: Apple, Tag-its #6, Fresh Alphabet
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, PTI Pure Poppy, New Leaf
paper: Cosmo Cricket Circe 1934 Mini deck; PTI Vintage Cream, Summer Sunrise
other: PTI Fruit Fusion: Apple die, tiny tags die; brad and red string - stash

  5. Wow! What a fantastic card. I had to look closely to see that the apples were strung as garland. Love how those yellow pencils and apples contrast with the black background.
