Birthday and Strawberry Picking

Well, yesterday was a full day. I went garage sale hunting and found an addition for my stamping studio. A CD holder that spins and fits perfectly on my work table. It will hold 88 stamp CD's. The bottom was designed for VCR tapes so my re-inkers and acrylic blocks fit nicely in this space. I believe this is the best $4 I've spent.

My sweet husband turned 51 as well. We went strawberry picking. 30 lbs!!! We ate angel food cake with chocolate syrup, cool whip, and strawberries. Now I know spring has arrived.

I can show you the birthday card I made Bob now too!! I combined inspiration from Nicole Heady and Michele Wooderson to complete this fun card.

I love the woodgrain for the car body. Fresh alphabet is going to get lots of use for emphasizing the birthday number.

Hope you are enjoying a beautiful weekend! ~Rhonda

  2. This is so great. Happy Birthday to your hubster. Those strawberries look delish, drop some off over here, will ya?!? hehe.

I love the wood grain on the car. Do you think you could punch somebody two times for that one? (You know "Beaver wood" and "slug bug") The highlighted number is a great addition to this card and I love the ric rac and background.
