Do you have Tueday Morning stores in your area? I found a great Making Memories paper pack (6x6 48 sheets) for $2. The new sketch from Card Patterns showcases this fun paper beautifully!
I liked the paper so much I made two cards! The stamp set is a little dollar stamp from Michael's.
I colored the ornaments with my Copic Markers and added highlights with my Clear Star Spica pen.
My card for Sketch #40 is 5 1/4 by 5 1/4 base. I don't usually make this size, so it was a nice change. I added a pop dot to one of the ornaments to give the visual lift that was needed. The white yarn is from Hobby Lobby. It has a beautiful silver sparkle.
The green ribbon on the second card is PTI's spring moss twill that I stamped with the Merry Merry image.
Thanks so much for looking. Keep playing! --Rhonda
Love this and love the colors you chose! :) Nice job!
ReplyDeleteLove that little row of ornaments Rhonda! Such sweet cards. Great colors, too.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty (love the ornaments!), and nice paper too!
ReplyDeleteGreat colours! Even though they're "non-traditional" they work so well with the stamps. I love the texture the white fringe gives to the first card. So fun!
ReplyDeleteI love your style! These are great!
ReplyDeleteWow...I'll have to stop by our Tuesday Mornings too...this made such a cute card set! Thanks for playing along with Card Patterns this week - I'm thrilled to be their sponsor this go around. :)
