Morning everyone! For the March PTI Blog Hop, Nicole issued the challenge of high gloss. You can get ALL the details here.
With the release of the coin purse dies, there has been lots of chatter regarding iron on vinyl fusing. I purchased some for the coin purses but decided to see how it would work with card stock. Like a dream! So I gave my birthday numbers high gloss with iron on fusing.
I did use some clear embossing over my 2-tone color stamping on the inside of my card.
Iron on vinyl fusing will now be considered one of my basic supplies. Easier and cleaner than embossing. Have fun hopping today. I can't wait to see what everyone created. ~Rhonda

I like playing with modeling paste and embossing powder. A match made in heaven. I'm kicking myself a little that I didn't emboss the sentiment in the blue and green as well. Next time I will!

May You Always Walk in Sunshine!
Monday, March 17, 2014
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Are you wearing green today?? I just have a quick tag to share. I purchased some watercolors yesterday and started playing. It's harder than it looks. I have the stripes down but cute blobs not so much.
I also wanted to share what has been taking a lot of my time lately. I'm part of a team of handlers for a Comfort Dog. This gorgeous girl is Phoebe. Phoebe was placed with our church in January. We visit hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and if the need arises disaster response situations to provide comfort and emotional support. Phoebe even has her own Facebook page so her friends can keep up with her.
Phoebe and I were visiting the nurses of a NICU unit that needed a little comfort after a hard week.
May your day be full of blessings!

Tickled Pink
Tuesday, March 11, 2014
I'm tickled pink that it is going to feel like spring for at least two days during spring break so I thought I would use some springy colors. I really like that the PTI feather set is designed for 2-step stamping.
I used a smaller feather for the inside.
Hope you are seeing signs of spring at your house. I'm ready!

Wearing the Smile you Gave Me
Wednesday, March 5, 2014
Happy Wednesday! We are half way through the week so that should put a smile on your face. If that doesn't do it I hope this card will!
I am using a new stamp set from PTI called Be Happy. It is a great little set when combined with the matching dies. The sentiments from Building Blocks fit perfectly on the die piece that you can stamp with the diagonal stripe. I just cut it in half. I love the little pierced holes in the scallop die.
