Happy Mail!

Are you brave? Do you cut your stamps APART???? Do you have the Pure Innocence stamp Happy Mail? You might notice that the little girl is missing below. EEEKkkk! She wasn't hurt to make this card but I just wanted her MAILBOX!

I'm playing along with MFT. This month's challenge is called: A Recipe For Love!!! with these requirements:

Mojo Monday #175

I'm excited that I found time to play along with the Mojo Monday sketch. I found these wonderful papers at Summertime Designs. Summer's digital kits have wonderful papers that I've fallen in LOVE with. Did you notice I lined the envelope?

PTI's Simple Sentiments is the perfect answer for so many occasions. I am delighted that it fits the PTI double-ended banners die.  A little twine from the Twinery and this one is good to go!!

I so hope you are having a wonderful weekend. It is supposed to reach 70 degrees here today but quickly return to cold by Tuesday. ~Rhonda

Storing Cards

Morning Everyone!!! Have you finished organizing your stamping supplies? Started a new system? Seems like everyone is.

I needed to figure out a better way to store my cards so I can quickly send one. I have boxes from IKEA that are the perfect size. I just needed dividers. The PTI library card die provided the perfect solution.

The added benefit is being able to see what category is looking a little lean. If you don't have a label maker, they really are a wonderful tool! ~Rhonda

Hugs and Kisses

I had so much fun creating these cards. It started with the PTI set - Framed. Do you know that the string from Banner Builders fits perfectly???? I did use a piece of tape on the frame for masking so that I could get more text in the frame opening.  I was on a roll and created several.

Don't you love the owl on the string?

Two of the hearts are from Verve - To the Moon and Sweet Treats.

I thought this last design would be fun for a lunch box note or to put in my husband's briefcase. The letters are from PTI - Fresh Alphabet.

Thanks for stopping by today!! ~Rhonda

Delight yourself in the Lord

This is the final Verve sketch for January. Of course I had to flip it! The sentiment is a Plain Jane. I needed to fill the empty space below the sentiment and the heart swirl from Sweet Treats fit perfectly and well as fitting the heart theme.

The papers are more of the Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck: Togetherness. The paper beneath the dots is actually Stampin Up's Going Gray. It looks a little blue in the photo.

I also made another ATC Bible Verse card for my growing collection. I colored some PTI twine with my gray Copic markers to get the needed match.

Can you believe it is already Wednesday again? and January is almost GONE!!! ~Rhonda

supplies used:
stamps: Verve - Plain Jane - Delight in the Lord, Sweet Treats
paper: Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck: Togetherness; SU - Going Gray; PTI Vintage Cream
ink: Memento tuxedo black
other: PTI limitless layers 2 1/2 collection; MFT scallop die; distressing tool; PTI twine; Copic Markers: yarn - stash

PTI Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! This month's blog hop challenge involves you challenging yourself to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that might be collecting a little dust!

I pulled out Big & Bold Wishes and Turning a New Leaf.

I have struggled to use the BIG sentiments so it felt GREAT to use them. I think using a small scale dotted ribbon helped the balance.

Don't you LOVE the Melon Berry and Hawaiian Shore colors together!!! Amy's card was ALL the inspiration I needed to try this color combo. I'm so thankful for the PTI forum that has allowed me to "meet" so many fellow stamp addicts! ~Rhonda

To the Moon !!

When I saw the new Verve set - To the Moon- I knew I had to have it. I met my husband at the White Elephant Saloon in the Fort Worth Stockyards 25 years ago. We met on a Wednesday evening, had our 1st date on Friday and the rest was history.

I had the image in my head of the elephant being "the Man in the Moon." The stars and cloud are dies from PTI.

Since I already had scraps of the same paper and an extra elephant stamped, I decided to make a tag as well. It will be perfect for a baby gift. I love "Emery" hanging out the window.

Hope you have a fabulous day!!! ~Rhonda

Twinkle, Twinkle

I'm playing along with Verve's Diva Dare . . .

We dare you to make a card, project, layout, or whatever fits your stamping style using this month's theme - Baby Love! The baby part could be for a new little someone...or a special someone!

You can get all the details at the Verve blog.

I chose the sweetest sentiment EVER!!! - Twinkle, twinkle little star, do you know how LOVED you are?

I issued myself a challenge to use a complete Cosmo Cricket mini deck. TOGETHERNESS - hoping all this togetherness doesn't wear me OUT!

You can see another card I made using this paper here. ~Rhonda

Favorite Things

I'm playing along with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club that is based on a sketch. Details here!! I have seen several Valentines in NON traditional colors, so I thought I would try.

This die and stamp set are some of My FAVORITE Things! I like the shape and there are lots of sentiments.

Can you see the glossy accents on the little Valentines? Just the needed POP. ~Rhonda

1 Peter 5:7

Hi All! I'm back with a second post today and you will probably notice that it's the same stamp set. Verve - Text Objects. I'm gonna get my $'s worth!! I'm playing along with Unscripted Sketches #88.

The paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Togetherness mini deck. Do you ever use up a whole deck??? Maybe a new goal cause I know they will be coming out with new stuff soon.

I am planning to make several ATC cards with Bible verses on them. My own little Bible Memory Book.

Do you have plans for the weekend? We have a birthday party for a sweet friend tonight. ~Rhonda

A cheerful friend . . .

The Viva la Verve sketch challenge is happening. I am totally smitten with Verve's stamps. My goal is to complete all 4 sketches for the month to be eligible to win the next month's entire release. The best part is you have all month to complete the sketches!!!

The week one sketch is a long, skinny card format. My card is 6 1/4 x 3 1/2. I enjoyed making a different size. The sentiment is from the Verve set Text Objects.

The amount of paper leftover is enough to create a 4 x 4 1/4 card and stamping in another color of ink gives such a different feeling.

I know I "enabled" a couple of you during Verve's recent sale so come play along!!! ~Rhonda
